Creating a Culture of Prevention, Metro Vancouver BC

City of Vancouver sponsors Bruce Alexander to speak about the realities of working in drug prevention field at Roundhouse Community Center, November 17, 2009.

A very engaged group of caring Metro Vancouver people gathered to discuss how we can better connect to each other’s health services. We learned that our job is to help others gain a real sense of belonging and create healthy connections in their network of friends and associates.

I, Tibor A. Palatinus, Drug Prevention Specialist, offered up my drug prevention program talks to the community pro bono through to January 2010.

Narconon Vancouver also supported the Metro Vancouver community by donating 8 drug prevention education videos for schools / communities and gave out 100 booklets.

The City of Vancouver has been wonderful in sponsoring meaningful Drug Prevention events for Metro Vancouver and has successfully brought the community together with these events. Thanks so much.
