Ecstasy Drug: it’s More Dangerous than you’re Led to Believe

Recently I was interviewed by a student reporter for BCIT radio. Her point of view was, ‘people should look for danger signs when they do X’. I found that POV permissive and dangerous. I gave her the answer she asked for, then told her the facts about X.

My POV is a friend who would let another friend use X isn’t a friend at all. Maybe that’s unfair and it’s just because I know more about MDMA, its marketing and the real consequences of taking E than them. Or perhaps I’m right and anyone who would let you use MDMA should be labeled as an enemy.

Ecstasy use danger symptoms to look for in a person using ecstasy

• elevated temperatures

• getting quite hot and sweating a lot

• dizziness

• fatigue

• clouded thinking

• sick to the stomach

• feeling like there’s heat exhaustion going on, ie throw up

Ecstasy Use is Dangerous.

The real danger began when her friends allowed her to take ecstasy in the first place. Being safe is really simple and people know that’s best to stay away from the drug. The fact is ecstasy is a dangerous drug.
Ecstasy MDMA, artificially raises the body temperature; it’s like speed as the drug ecstasy is part methamphetamine (meth) and not only can it be extremely addictive but ecstasy can be very damaging to the brain. Drugs like ecstasy hyper activate the body organs. The organs like the adrenal glands are taxed incredibly, the kidneys are also taxed badly.

Ecstasy use can reduce blood flow or the oxygen availability to the brain. So a friend should not have let that friend take MDMA in the first place.

There are several factors one for the one major problem taking any drug is that some individuals are highly sensitive to some drugs and not to other drugs. Some people will have a bad reaction to aspirin and others can take it their entire life and have no problem with it.

Fact is, X is dangerous and unsafe: that’s why it’s illegal

Any illegal or illicit use of a drug is extra dangerous, no matter what ‘people’ say it isn’t dangerous. That’s how illicit drug use is marketed in movies and even by journals. The drug’s use is promoted in movies as ‘not bad’. If it was so good, I’m sure the greedy drug companies would find ways to sell it to people. I think pharmaceutical companies have so much lobbying power and money that they control elections these days. So if they could, they’d be selling X if it were safe or beneficial.

Ecstasy Drugs Come in Different Forms

And there are different forms of ‘ecstasy’ drugs. They may be different or it just happens that this individual happens to have a reaction upon that say that particular blend of ecstasy. Bad reactions to taking ecstasy drug can happen the first time; or it could happen the second time with anyone of those ladies third, fifth or 10th time. It’s a gamble every time a person takes drugs.

Illicit drugs are always more dangerous. Perhaps the cook who mixes up the meth or MDMA makes an error, or they are given ingredients which aren’t what they are claimed to be – most people don’t stop to think that drug dealers, drug addicts and those in the illicit drug trade are scamers, by the very nature of the activity, they will scam.

One way drug dealers got a bunch of kids hooked onto heroin in rich neighborhoods is by calling their weed ‘chiva’. This is a Mexican name for heroin. But the english speaking kids didn’t know that, until the kids began going through heroin withdrawal in class or at home. Drug dealers aren’t nice people, they aren’t your friends. You’re business, or drugs, or a party to them. Take away the drugs, money or party and see how long these people stick around.
