Narconon BC History

Narconon BC History of Helping Drug Abusers

Narconon drug rehab programs have helped thousands of drug abusers and alcoholics break the hold addiction had on their lives. Since the early 1970’s, Narconon BC used simple and very powerful learning programs which helped drug addicts come into full contact with their present environment and life situations.

Local BC Penitentiaries and courts ordered drug offenders to BC Narconon programs and courses as an alternative to imprisonment. BC’s Okala Prison received many Narconon counselors and supervisors who taught life skills, personal responsibility and ways toward self correction and emancipation.

The penitentiaries moved away from the city and Narconon became a residential program for private pay clients.

In 21st century, Narconon Vancouver was established to focus on drug prevention education. 10s of thousands of kids and adults were educated about the real dangers of drugs and alcohol. Many chose to never get involved in drugs or ceased to abuse drugs and alcohol because of these talks.
